Overview

Our Oncology Department at the ITM Hospital, Gwalior, has the mission of providing holistic, caring, and sophisticated care to cancer patients. Our oncology team accompanies the patients on their journey through early detection and precise diagnosis to individualized treatment and lifelong survivorship programs in place.

Comprehensive Cancer Care

Diagnosis & Staging: The prompt and correct diagnosis is very important in the treatment of cancer. We offer advanced diagnostic examinations, including, CT scan, biopsy, endoscopy, tumour markers, and histopathology to specify the type and stage of cancer.

Medical Oncology: Newer methods of treatment that are offered by our medical oncologists include chemotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and immunotherapy. These are tailored plans specifically prepared to minimize side effects as well as maximize efficacy.

Surgical Oncology: Our skilled surgeons are experts in complicated surgeries for cancer. We do tumour resection, minimal surgery, breast conserving surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, and gastrointestinal cancer surgery.

Supportive & Palliative Care: Cancer not only affects the body, but it also impacts the spirit and the mind. To enhance quality of life, we provide services of pain management, nutritional counselling, psycho oncology support, and palliative care.
